IMMEDIATE LOADING

What is immediate loading?

Immediate loading implantology is a frequently used implant technique that allows the immediate functional and aesthetic rehabilitation of the patient's chewing, both sectorally and globally.

If there are no absolute contraindications, immediate loading dental implantology allows the patient to finish the implant treatment with fixed temporary teeth, anchored to the implants placed during surgery.

What are the main advantages of an immediate loading prosthesis?

1. Elimination of the second surgical stage

2. Reduction in the number of post-surgical checks

3. Greater comfort for the patient

4. Immediate recovery of the aesthetic and chewing function

Immediate Loading Guidelines

Treatment requirements

Each patient must be carefully assessed during the pre-operative stage in order to identify the clinical requirements for applying the immediate provisional prosthetic protocol.

For this purpose, the following is recommended:

• Adequate bone quality (Type i, ii, iii).
Sufficient bone height (approx. 12 mm) for a minimum implant length of 10 mm.
Adequate bone width (approx. 6 mm).
Correct dislocation of the implants in the intraforaminal area.
Trapezoidal placement of the implants in the upper jaw to prevent posterior cantilevering.

Contraindications

Severe parafunctional habits:

• Poor bone quality (type iv)
• Bone height less than 12 mm
• Bone thickness less than 6 mm
• Inability to achieve adequate anteroposterior implant distance

Straight conical post

ITS® conical posts for immediate loading are a viable alternative to the traditional post made of titanium or aesthetic posts..

They are the ideal solution for screw-retained prostheses on posts, in cases of multiple and total edentulism.

Angled Conical Post

17° and 30° angled conical abutments allow the rehabilitation of multiple and full prostheses even in cases of disparallelism between several implants..

They offer maximum versatility and aesthetic results for screw-retained prostheses in cases of immediate and delayed application of the prosthesis
